Welcome to South Park Elementary, Home of the Cougars!

As we conclude a successful 2025–2026 school year, I want to extend my sincere gratitude to our incredible Cougar families, students, and staff for your ongoing partnership and dedication. This year has been filled with joyful learning, meaningful growth, and strong community connection — all of which reflect the heart of South Park Elementary.

It is hard to believe that this fifth grade class is the very group of students who were in the building when I began my principalship at South Park. Thank you for your support and dedication in allowing me to learn and grow alongside your children in my role, so I can continue to better serve our amazing families.

As we look ahead to the 2026–2027 school year, we are excited to partner with our district on our theme: “Empowered to Climb the Summit: Strong Attendance. Strong Minds. Strong Cougars.” This theme reflects our commitment to strengthening literacy, improving attendance, and supporting the social-emotional learning and wellness of every student. Together, we will continue to ensure that every Cougar is supported, challenged, and celebrated on their journey to success.

We are proud to offer each Cougar a vibrant and enriching experience that includes art, music, PE, STEM, gifted and talented programming, WIN (What I Need) time, Accelerated Reader, clubs, after-school enrichment, and more!

Purpose Statement: Through strong community and family relationships, South Park Elementary will cultivate authentic learning experiences for our Cougars that are transferable to the real world. The South Park staff is dedicated to working as a team to create common goals and collective core values that meet the needs of each individual student through the delivery of a diverse, rich, and rigorous curriculum. Our staff will incorporate these core values in our daily interactions with our Cougars, fostering acceptance, strengthening life skills, building relationships, embracing a growth mindset, promoting inclusivity, encouraging creativity, and striving for excellence. Our Cougars will leave prepared, with the desire and ability to make a difference and lead a life of purpose and impact.
